MARSHFIELD, Wis. — H&S Manufacturing Co., Inc. announces the appointment of Craig Harthoorn, 54, to the position of president, effective Feb. 13, 2017. Chris Heikenen will remain active with H&S as the company’s chairman and CEO.

Harthoorn will assume overall responsibility for company performance, strategic and business planning, and coordination of all operations.

After growing up on a crop and livestock farm, Craig obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Upper Iowa University and has spent his entire professional career in the agricultural field. That career includes experience as a service manager and general manager at the dealership level; as a product specialist, district manager and then general sales manager in 15 years at Kinze Manufacturing; as general manager for a fertilizer equipment distribution company; and most recently as president/general manager for one of the Alamo Group companies. Harthoorn’s experience at the dealership, distributor and manufacturing levels makes him uniquely suited to be president of H&S, the company says.
