Orthman Manufacturing has named Bryan Pekarek regional sales and dealer development manager for 10 states in the southern region.

Pekarek will be responsible for Orthman’s agricultural sales, dealer development and communications throughout Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and North and South Carolina.

"We are thrilled to have Bryan on the Orthman team. He was most recently the Arkansas territory manager for John Deere and his large account management experience will play a big role in the growth we hope to achieve in this region," said Justin Troudt, Orthman vice president of global sales.

In addition to his post as John Deere territory manager, Pekarek also held positions with John Deere Credit and as an area sales manager for the company. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Fort Hays State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

"Bryan’s experience and understanding of the agricultural equipment dealer will directly benefit our dealer network and customers," said Rod Haarberg, Orthman vice president of global product development and director of marketing.

Orthman manufactures the 1tRIPr, the world’s most popular strip-till cultivator system, in addition to a full line of cultivators, planters, grain carts, listers, rippers and other agricultural products from its headquarters near Lexington, Neb.
