As part of their ongoing support of the nation’s beef producers, New Holland is partnering with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) to produce a series of educational program segments focusing on a topic critical to successfully managing a cattle operation – hay production.

The programming is designed to enhance producers’ knowledge of equipment and best practices to make cattlemen more efficient and effective in their haymaking operations. The segments will air on NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen, an hour-long television show that airs weekly on RFD-TV. New Holland equipment specialists will join hay and forage experts in addressing a variety of topics related to hay production that will serve to improve the efficiency and profitability of cow/calf and beef cow operations.

“New Holland has a well-deserved reputation as the leader in haymaking technology,” says Mike Cornman, Dairy & Livestock Segment Marketing Manager. “We’re excited to have this opportunity to share our wealth of haymaking knowledge, and that of leading hay and forage experts, through these educational segments.”

NCBA’s Cattlemen to Cattlemen weekly television program airs Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. on RFD-TV, and re-airs Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Time). The haymaking educational segments, which began airing on Cattlemen to Cattlemen on March 26, will also be available online at www.cattlementocattlemen.org.

As the oldest and largest cattle association in the United States, the NCBA represents 25,000 beef producers who are dues paying members of the organization. NCBA focuses on three main areas: building domestic demand for beef, gaining access to key beef export markets around the globe, and building a positive business climate for beef producers within the United States. New Holland is an Allied Industries Partner of the organization.
