Highland Tractor, the local John Deere dealer in central west Florida, has become part of the Everglades Farm Equipment family.

Everglades Farm Equipment is a family-owned business which was established in 1963 to serve the agricultural industry around Lake Okeechobee.

With 6 locations serving South and Central Florida expands there network of retail and services centers to include locations in: Leesburg, Fl., New Port Richey, Palmetto, and Plant City, Fla.

This now making a total of 10 retail and service locations.

According to the company’s web site, August 22 was the official take-over day. Everglades have been taking care of customer with two main principles in mind “service” and “satisfaction.” We believe by focusing on our customers’ needs we will better serve them and they can serve their customers.
