PERRY, Iowa — Osmundson Manufacturing Company, a family-owned manufacturer of high-performing tillage blade and cultivation equipment, announces the addition of two accomplished professionals to its team.
Roger Marin has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Marin brings more than 15 years of experience in plant operations, supply chain development and manufacturing management to his new role with Osmundson Mfg. Marin will spearhead Osmundson’s expansion efforts, maximize R&D capabilities, and lead daily business operations.
Gretchen Holcomb has been named Quality Manager. Holcomb joins Osmundson Mfg. with more than a decade of experience. In previous roles, Holcomb has served as a quality team lead and managed the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Holcomb’s role at Osmundson Mfg. will include management of the company’s QMS and overseeing quality control testing and documentation.
“At Osmundson, we want to grow the brand and pursue additional industries that our company hasn’t yet served. To do that, we need people that can help us to consistently improve. Bringing talented professionals like Roger and Gretchen on board will help us reach those goals and move the company forward on a larger scale,” said Heather Bruce, Osmundson Mfg. Co. president and chief operating officer.
Osmundson Mfg. Co. was founded in 1903 as Osmundson Spade. Today, the company has approximately 100 employees at its headquarters and production facility in Perry, Iowa. The company is currently adding a second manufacturing facility in Mayfield, Kentucky that will produce 20-inch and larger disc blades for the agriculture and construction industries.
