Trelleborg Sealing Solutions starts production at its first ever manufacturing facility in Vietnam, a 26,247 square foot plant located in Long Thanh.

Producing O-Rings and custom-designed engineered molded components in a wide range of elastomer materials, Trelleborg uses the latest compression and injection molding technology and plate heat exchanger gaskets.

“The new facility focuses on servicing automotive and industrial markets for both the growing market in Vietnam and the wider Asian region, as well as Europe and North America,” Gordon Micallef, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions operations business unit president, says. “It enhances support to customers in the region who are seeking local suppliers to increase supply chain security and sustainability.”

Long Thanh is Trelleborg Sealing Solutions’ first manufacturing capacity in Vietnam, joining the existing Customer Solution Center (CSC) which supports local requirements from offices in Ho Chi Minh city.
