BEATRICE, Neb. –– Exmark has updated its Quest family of premium residential zero-turn riding mowers for 2021. The new machines offer proven Exmark commercial features to enable homeowners to cut lawns faster and easier, with professional quality results.

Exmark Product Manager, Mike Mayfield, said updates to the new Quest machines leverage technologies originally developed for the company’s premier Lazer Z family of commercial zero-turn mowers.

“The Series 2 cutting decks on the new Quest models are a good example of this trickle-down effect,” Mayfield said. “Fabricated and welded from high-strength steel, the Series 2 cutting decks deliver superior strength, cut quality and long-term durability when compared to the stamped steel decks often found on competitors’ residential zero-turn mowers.”

The new cutting decks offer improved clipping discharge, for a cleaner, more consistent finish cut quality. In addition, the new cutting decks offer improved bagging when used with Exmark’s available bagger accessory, as well as easier installation of the available mulch kit. The 42-, 50- and 54-inch cutting decks also feature tools-free belt shields for easier maintenance access.

Exmark offers the 2021 Quest in two series. The Quest E-Series is available with a choice of 42- or 50-inch Series 2 cutting decks. A new deck lift system provides positive retention and increased stability. All Quest E-Series models are powered by the Kohler 7000 Series KT725 air-cooled V-twin engine, which features pressurized lubrication for long engine life.

The upgraded Quest S-Series is available with a 54-inch Series 2 cutting deck featuring an upgraded commercial-style four-point, foot-operated deck lift, for maximum deck stability in tough cutting conditions. Power is courtesy of the Exmark 708cc V-Twin engine. Other features include a dual-barrel carburetor, pressurized lubrication and an innovative quick drain system for easy, tools-free oil changes.

Both Quest models feature a high-strength steel frame with a durable black textured powder coat finish. New side pods offer updated styling, with fingertip access to essential mower controls and improved height-of-cut visibility.

Exmark designed a new padded, ergonomically contoured operator seat for the Quest E-Series models, while the Quest S-Series seat features armrests for additional operator comfort.
