LS Tractor earned the Dealer’s Choice Award for tractor manufacturers in the 2016 Equipment Dealers Assn.’s annual Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey Report — the second year in a row the company achieved that recognition.
Deryk Johannes, LS Tractor’s CEO, shares what the company is doing to help its relationships with its dealers:
On product quality: Product quality is something we at LS Tractor continually strive to improve. With the introduction of the new Tier 4 engines over the past two years, we have implemented new procedures to ensure products delivered to our dealers have the lowest quality issues as possible. In fact, we currently have a quality team from our manufacturing parent company in North America visiting our dealers to verify product quality. LS ranked number 1 in product quality among all tractor manufacturers and significantly higher than the average of all manufacturers included in the EDA survey.
On parts availability: Our ability to supply parts and support dealers and customers remains steadfast. We have a prioritized parts ordering and processing system for down units to ensure needed parts are delivered as soon as possible, including overnight delivery. Additionally, we are upgrading and improving our online parts ordering system as part of our constant improvement process. Again, we ranked number 1 in parts availability among tractor manufacturers, and significantly higher than both other tractor companies and the average of all manufacturers.
On parts quality: Not wanting to sound like a broken record, but again LS ranked #1 in parts quality among tractor companies and significantly higher than the average of all other manufacturers. We believe constant improvement in parts quality is an import aspect of delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Product technical support: You guessed it, LS ranked number one among tractor companies and significantly higher than the average of other companies. Our highly qualified field service technicians, combined with well regarded, hands-on service schools that are free for dealers are greatly appreciated.
On responsiveness to the dealer: We continue to be committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. We are a lean, flat organization and can make decisions extremely rapidly. Dealers continue to express how appreciative they are with our ability to make decisions and take immediate actions to respond to their needs and the needs of their customers. LS Tractor ranked number one among all tractor companies and significantly higher than the average for all manufacturers.
On recent significant changes: Our philosophy since our launch in 2009 has always been to focus on the customer and deliver exceptional satisfaction with our high value, high quality products combined with unequalled support. So, no significant changes are planned. We will simply stay the course.
On initiatives for the coming year: We are constantly looking for ways to streamline processes and make doing business with LS Tractor USA as easy as possible for dealers. We will remain a lean organization to ensure rapid responsiveness to dealer needs. We are extremely proud our dealers rated LS Tractor USA with such high marks that we have not only been awarded the Dealer’s Choice Award for tractor manufacturers for the second year in a row, but we ranked number two among all manufacturers in the EDA survey. This truly strengthens our resolve to continue to deliver exceptional support and satisfaction to our dealers and customers.
