WAKEFIELD, Va.—Hoober Inc., an agricultural equipment dealer with 9 locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia recently announced the addition of Jeff Middleton as Store Manager and Sales Manager at the dealership’s Wakefield, Va. location.
Middleton joins Hoober Inc. after working for StollerUSA in Houston, Texas, the world leader in development and sales of crop health products, where he served as the General Manager. Middleton graduated from Delaware Valley University with a degree in Agribusiness and has an extensive agriculture background. In addition to working directly with farmers during 18 years with DuPont Pioneer, Middleton also worked as a Case IH Crop Production Sales and Marketing Specialist for five years, working with Case IH equipment dealers from South Carolina to eastern Canada, including all Hoober locations.
“We’ve worked closely with Jeff over the years because of his role with Case IH,” said Scott Hoober, who oversees operations and store management for the family-owned dealership. “Jeff understands our business and our emphasis on serving our customers, and our interactions with him while he was with Case IH always impressed us. His experience and commitment to doing what’s best for the customer are going to benefit our customers and our team at Wakefield.”
In his role of Store Manager and Sales Manager, Middleton will be responsible for meeting customers’ needs in terms of equipment, parts and service support.
“Whether it’s service, equipment, precision farming, sales or parts support, we want to provide customers with the very best experience possible,” said Middleton. “One of the main reasons I made the decision to join Hoober was I saw first-hand their genuine commitment to partnering with their customers to make their customers as productive and efficient as possible.”
Middleton also said he looks forward to working with the team at the Wakefield location and getting to know the store’s customers.
“The team at Wakefield has a lot of experience, so it’s a great location to step into,” said Middleton. “This is a business that is always changing in terms of technological advancements and I’m excited to see how we can partner with our customers and best match technologies to their specific operations because it’s definitely not a one-size-fits all approach.”
