The Board of Directors of the Western Equipment Dealers Assn. is pleased to announce funding to 80 dealer-member employees through the WEDA Scholarship Program.  The 2015 program will see an allocation of $40,000 in WEDA funds that will be matched by participating dealers.

This year, the program once again exceeded our expectations with 183 applications for employees enrolled in the Ag Technician and Parts Technician programs.

According to John Schmeiser, WEDA CEO, the employee sponsorship program is one of three scholarship programs promoted by WEDA. Since 2001, WEDA has committed or funded over $1.1 million distributed in Canada toward scholarships, educational programs and post-secondary educational training.
