To accommodate its significant growth, Horsch Anderson, LLC, will break ground on a new manufacturing facility in Mapleton, N.D., on Saturday, August 25, 2012. It will be located on a 30-acre lot north of Interstate 94 near the Mapleton exit. The initial stage of the project will include a 100,000-square-foot building, which will contain offices and a large production area. Within five years Horsch Anderson projects to employ 80 people or more at the facility.

Under the shareholders agreement entered into with L'Enteprise Publique Economique de Commercialisation de Materiels Agricoles and L'Enteprise Publique Economique de Production de Tracteurs Agricoles, AGCO will take 49% ownership of Algeria Tractors Company. The new joint venture is based in Constantine, Algeria and will produce Massey Ferguson tractors for sale into the local domestic Algerian market. Production is expected to begin before the end of 2012.
