Mahindra USA, the number one selling tractor brand in the world based on volume, has selected historic Nashville, TN, to be the site of its pinnacle event, the 2013 National Dealer Meeting, November 13-16, 2013. The event will bring together more than 1,000 attendees from all over the world and is expected to generate $5 million for the Nashville economy. This will be Mahindra’s fourth National Dealer Meeting and will focus on the “Power of Three – Brand, Partners and Employees” as part of Mahindra’s Rise philosophy for growth, success and driving positive change in the North American market.
“Nashville is the ideal location for Mahindra’s 2013 National Dealer Meetings as it is coming back strong from the devastating floods of 2010 in the true Rise spirit of Mahindra. We look forward to experiencing the vibrant culture and beauty of this resilient city and sharing Mahindra’s Rise spirit with the community,” said Cleo Franklin, Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Mahindra USA. “This follows our selection of Galveston for our 2012 meetings when it was rebounding from the devastating impact of Hurricane Ike in 2008. The tenacity of these two cities in recovering and moving forward from major natural disasters epitomizes Mahindra’s culture.”
The dealer group will be hosted at the new Omni Nashville Hotel, opening this fall, with a special evening planned at the Country Music Hall of Fame to showcase the “Spirit of Rise.” Mahindra will be one of the first companies to host events at the new Music City Center with new product introductions, dealer best practices sessions as well as ride & drive demonstrations and more, creating a unique experience for its dealers.
Following the conference, Mahindra will donate a tractor to the City of Nashville’s Parks Department on behalf of the Mahindra family worldwide.
“To celebrate the Mahindra Rise spirit of Nashville and in support of the rebuilding effort, we will donate a revolutionary Mahindra Max Tractor to the city,” said Franklin.
In addition to Mahindra USA Senior Leadership, featured speakers and presenters will include:
- Guest speakers from the North American tractor industry and dealer associations
- Training sessions from industry leaders and experts
- Ross Bernstein, best-selling author of nearly 50 sports books and inspirational speaker;
- CNN 2010 Hero, Dan Wallrath, homebuilder and founder of Operation Finally Home that provides custom-built, mortgage free homes to America’s Heroes and the widows of the fallen.
