New Holland’s Guardian self-propelled sprayer line has been expanded with the addition of the SP333F, a new, front-boom, 333 hp model. Producers can now choose from four front-boom and two rear-boom models ranging from 240 hp to 365 hp.
“Producers’ demand for this horsepower and tank size class of sprayers is growing,” says Sheldon Gerspacher, Crop Production Equipment Segment Leader. “This additional model complements New Holland’s existing lineup of industry-leading front boom sprayers.”
Like all front-boom Guardian sprayers, the SP333.F features four-wheel hydrostatic drive and an industry-leading 15-foot turning radius which allows for easy maneuvering in tight spaces and effortless headland turns.
The new SP333.F model has the option of a 1,200, 1,400, or 1,600 gallon tank and boom widths of 90, 100, or 120 ft. to cover acres fast. A balanced 50/50 weight distribution keeps the wheels firmly on the ground for maximum traction and minimum compaction, with industry-leading boom height, and the six-foot ground clearance allows the sprayer to get into the field throughout the growing season.
The unique hydraulic suspension, which provides excellent stability and the smoothest ride in the industry, improves spraying accuracy while further increasing operator comfort. The four-wheel independent suspension is hydraulically controlled and allows for a suspension travel on each wheel of 20 inches to handle the toughest ground conditions and ensure better boom stability, and superior traction no matter what the terrain.
Operator comfort is at a premium with the full, straight ahead visibility of the front-boom and the added quietness in the cab due to the engine positioned at the rear of the sprayer. Two new cab packages, Deluxe and Luxury, are offered on all Guardian sprayers. The spacious cabs are equipped with air ride cab suspension for a smoother ride, and with lots of glass area for exceptional visibility to the boom tips and front tires.
While seated in the comfort of the adjustable, high-back, air-ride seat, all controls, including the multi-function joystick, armrest command console, and console engine– transmission monitor, are easily accessible. Both cab options are pre-wired for auto-guidance and offer a complete complement of control features designed with the operator in mind.
