Leica Geosystems has recently appointed multiple industry experts to further strengthen the growing precision agriculture business. These appointments reflect Leica Geosystems’ objective of being the leading provider of positioning and technology solutions to the agricultural sector.
In June Johan Arnberg was appointed as the new President of Machine Control Division, which includes the responsibility for Leica Geosystems Agriculture. Arnberg is a very experienced executive with a history of delivering success in machine control. Arnberg will drive the global growth of the agriculture business by promoting best practice, service excellence and innovation internationally.
Robert Johnson, former Global Service and Support Manager, has commenced his new position as Product Manager in September. In his capacity as Product Manager, he is responsible for further developing the suite of products and solutions for precision agriculture applications to deliver tangible value to customers’ operations.
In October Joe Arico will commence in the position of Global Aftermarket Manager. Based in Brisbane, he will be responsible for productizing and managing all aftermarket products and solutions for the agriculture business, in order to maintain high quality support and service to dealers and end users. Arico has worked many years in development and product management roles.
In July Steve Ims joined the US team as Regional Manager for the upper Midwest and the western US. Ims brings a vast knowledge for integration of GPS technologies into agricultural equipment. With integrity and industry knowledge, Ims has assisted businesses in strategies for agriculture’s technology markets for many years.
These strategic appointments represent the maturity and success to date of the Leica Geosystems Agriculture business to further strengthen its team and ensure continued growth in this sector.
