Zetor Tractors recently received the prestigious Zlatý klas s kytiÄ?kou 2012 and Zlatý kosák 2012 awards for its new Zetor Forterra HSX Series tractor exhibit. The Zlatý klas s kytiÄ?kou award was granted by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic during the 39th international ZemÄ› Živitelka 2012 exposition in ÄŒeské BudÄ›jovice, Czech Republic. The equally important Zlatý kosák contest took place at the 39thAgrokomplex international food and agriculture exposition in Nitra, Slovakia.
The Zetor Forterra HSX 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140 horsepower models represent the state of the art in utility tractor design and production. One key feature is the new 30-speed forward and reverse transmission with 3-speed power shift and power shuttle. In addition, the Forterra HSX is the only tractor in the world with the advanced Bosch HitchTronic system for automatic tillage depth control.
“Zetor Forterra HSX tractors not only make life easier for their owners, but also reduce operating costs,” said Marián Lipovský, deputy CEO and Production Director of Zetor Tractors a.s. “We managed to reduce fuel consumption, and in the end lower tractor operation costs for our customers, which is undoubtedly a major issue given the continual growth of fuel prices. In addition, our Forterra HSX tractors feature the exclusive HitchTronic automatic tillage depth control system, which has already received the international Agrotech award this year."
The 2012 Zlatý klas 2012 contest for the best exhibit took place at the 39th international ZemÄ› živitelka exposition under the auspices of the Czech Ministry of Agriculture. Top exhibits, which must also meet demanding ecological criteria, competed for the Zlatý klas s kytiÄ?kou 2012. This award was granted to Zetor based on its presentation to an expert panel of judges. Forthe first time in history, the Zlatý klas s kytiÄ?kou was awarded in the category of mechanization.
This year’s ZemÄ› živitelka exposition was honored by the attendance of the Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, and Cardinal Dominik Duka, Archbishop of Prague. Both important guests visited the Zetor exhibit where they received personal briefings on the new Forterra HSX tractors.
Honored guests were present at the Agrokomplex exposition as well, including Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico along with deputies and ministers from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.
