Kalida, Ohio, April 21, 2011— Unverferth Mfg. of Kalida, Ohio, was named the inaugural recipient of the Producer’s Choice Award for its X-TREME grain cart advertisement at the recent annual National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) awards presentation in Kansas City, Mo.

Over 40 entries were submitted by agricultural chemical, seed and equipment companies across the U.S. and judged by more than 1,000 randomly selected farmers. The ads were scored on their effectiveness in attention getting ability, believability and informational value.

McCormick Co. of Des Moines, Iowa, created the ad for Unverferth.

NAMA is the nation's largest association for professionals in marketing and agribusiness. This year's award ceremony featured more than 60 peer-judged categories and more than 1,200 professionals in attendance.
