AGCO Corp. will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an open house on Thursday, April 7, to mark the opening of the AGCO Parts’ renovated Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Stockton, Calif.
According to the company, the Stockton PDC is one of nine AGCO Parts’ distribution centers across North America. It has recently been upgraded to a full-service PDC to better support AGCO Parts dealers in the western United States and their customers.
This Stockton PDC transition is part of an overall service commitment by AGCO Parts. Over the past 18 months, AGCO Parts has invested in training its service and support personnel, updating its processes and systems particularly with its North American PDCs and customer service center, and actively seeking input from its dealers and customers.
According to the 2011 Heavy Equipment Parts Manager Survey by Carlisle Research, AGCO Parts is the only agriculture OEM to experience a double digit increase in overall satisfaction, which is more than double the increase in satisfaction of AGCO’s nearest competitor. In addition, overall availability satisfaction rose 10 points and new model availability increased 12 points, according to the survey.
In 2010, AGCO Parts received best-in-class awards from the North American Service-Parts Conference in recognition for its service, quality and safety. Also, AGCO Parts now has an industry-low of 10 days for backorders, a 75 percent improvement over the past two years.
