The Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has made multiple staff-related news announcements over recent weeks.

AEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations, Kip Eideberg, was named to The Hill’s list of top lobbyists for the sixth straight year.

The annual list was released in early December by The Hill and is comprised of individuals it described as “some of the best in the business and have been go-to-advocates.”

“During a year when policy decidedly trumped politics, we expanded our reputation as a trusted, respected voice for our industry, as well as an influential force in shaping critical outcomes for the competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry in the United States,” said Eideberg. “This is a tremendous honor, but one that belongs to the entire AEM Advocacy Team who stepped up once again to deliver impressive results for our industry and member companies. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by such an amazing group of professionals.”

AEM also announced that its Sr. VP-Exhibitions, Marketing and Content Strategy, Nicole Hallada, was recently elected as the newest member of the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) Board of Directors. According to the announcement, made during IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2024 in Los Angeles, California in mid-December, IAEE members are organizers of more than 20,000 exhibitions and buyer-seller events around the world are members of IAEE. The Dallas, Tex.-bsaed organization advocates and promotes the awareness of face-to-face exhibitions and events as the primary medium for business development and growth. Hallada joined AEM predecessor CIMA (the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association) in 1997 as a Marketing Coordinator, rising to her current role in 2020.

AEM also welcomed its newest Digital Marketing Coordinator, reporting that Autumn Svoboda-Lessard will be assisting the Digital team in developing marketing plans, email marketing, social media, and tradeshow podcasts.
