The Carlstar Group, a division of Titan International Inc., recently celebrated a significant milestone with its Clinton, Tenn., plant’s 50th anniversary. The company reports that, since opening its doors in 1974, the plant has become a cornerstone of the local community, providing jobs and contributing to the economic vitality of Clinton and the surrounding areas.

Carlstar is a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty tires and wheels for a variety of end-market verticals including outdoor power equipment, power sports, trailers, and small to midsize agricultural and construction equipment. It offers a broad range of applications for farm equipment, backhoes, forklifts and other material handling equipment. Carlstar operates three manufacturing facilities in the US and one in China. Carlstar also internally manages twelve distribution facilities around the world. Carlstar’s global 2023 revenues were approximately $615 million.

“For five decades, our dedicated team has specialized in manufacturing tires for powersports, agriculture, and high-speed trailers. This commitment to quality and innovation has not only driven our success but has also allowed us to forge lasting relationships with our customers and partners,” wrote the company in an announcement during the celebration event held at the plant. It commended the team members’ dedication which has helped propel the company’s growth and success.

For the farming market, Carlstar reports that its expansive product line features tire compounds, improved ozone protection, and reduced stubble damage technology. Popularly used on front-end loaders, compact tractors, grain wagons, and hay equipment, Carlstar AG’s tire portfolio provides fitments for your various equipment applications. The company also notes that its branded agriculture tires are built with tough compounds and turf-friendly designs, and the entire line offers increased traction and puncture resistant compounds.

Earlier this year, Titan International announced its acquisition of Carlstar Group. In a statement issued Feb. 29, the company reported:”Carlstar brings significant new customer relationships in multiple channels, including leading wholesale distributors, national retailers, commercial servicing dealers, and OEMs. Carlstar adds further diversification to Titan’s product portfolio, especially in outdoor power equipment, power sports and high-speed trailers, where Titan does not have a presence.”

Titan, a global manufacturer of off-highway wheels, tires, assemblies, and undercarriage products, produces a broad range of products to meet the specifications of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket customers in the agricultural, earthmoving/construction, and consumer markets.
