According to Performance Brokerage Services, the current landscape of equipment dealer merger and acquisition activity is still very strong. The organization says there are more buyers than sellers in the current market. Following record sales, dealers are using excess cash to grow despite rising interest rates. Dealership values are still up, and buyers are hungry for strategic acquisitions ag equipment industry.
  • Marc Johnson, ag equipment distribution industry expert and Principal from Pinion Global, will provide an update on his “2024 Ag Equipment Industry Economic Outlook” presentation, including:
    • Notable trends in agriculture for the first 6 months of the year and how those trends impacted ag equipment sales
    • Farmer financials and sentiment
    • Where ag equipment sales will trend in the second half of 2024
  • Brad Arnold, vice president at Massey Ferguson North America, provides a majorline manufacturer update and outlook on what he’s learned so far in 2024. Coming off the back of several positive years, Arnold will discuss:

    • Key concerns and areas of optimism for the second half of 2024 
    • The state of the company’s dealer network, including its needs and successes
  • Todd Bachman, president and CEO at Kubota dealer Florida Coast Equipment, provides a dealer update on how the first 6 months of 2024 went for the company. Bachman will discuss: 
    • How equipment sales went and how he expects them to go 
    • How the dealership is preparing for the second half of the year
    • What Florida Orange Equipment needs from its OEMs to succeed
  • Adam Reid, vice president of sales & marketing at Versatile, provides a specialized equipment manufacturer update and outlook on what Versatile has learned so far in 2024, including:
