On Jan. 17, the High Plains/Midwest Ag Journal reported that Bucklin Tractor and Implement Co. (BTI), Bucklin, Kan., will take ownership of Great Bend Farm Equipment, Great Bend, Kan.

Cody Dick is the new general manager of the Great Bend location. He said this addition to the BTI family of dealerships will help bring a more aggressive sales force, more agronomic/technological solutions and more resources to Great Bend’s customers.

BTI currently has 5 John Deere dealership locations in Kansas, including Bucklin Greensburg, Hoxie, Ness City and Pratt.

“For us, this purchase expands our area of responsibility,” Dick said. “The customers here in Great Bend are very progressive and farm in a diversified area, similar to our other areas.”
