Case IH dealer Evolution Ag announced the opening of its new dealership in Plain City, Ohio, reports the Ohio Country Journal. Three years of planning and 1 year of construction went into the new location.
Doug Loudenslager, principal and one of the owners said that the 45,000 square foot facility has been designed to serve not only the agricultural community but the suburban homeowner as well.
Evolution Ag’s agricultural lines, in addition to Case IH, include MacDone, Geringhoff, Great Plains, Unverferth and J&M. Rural lifestyle equipment lines include, Gravely, Kioti and Grasshopper. And, Evolution Ag is now considered a full-line sales and service center for Stihl and an authorized Gold Dealer for the Big Green Egg line of smoker/grill.
The dealership will be home to a regional training center for Case IH. Steve Hayes, a former Field Service Manager and trainer for Case IH was recently hired by Evolution Ag to lead the training effort, the Ohio County Journal reports.
“This expansion will allow us to better serve our customers with service, parts, technical support and equipment. The Delaware facility had served us well for many years but could no longer accommodate the large agricultural equipment needed in today’s agriculture.” Loudenslager said.
The existing Delaware facility will be maintained as an outdoor power equipment center servicing the Kubota, Grasshopper, Gravely, Stihl and Big Green Egg lines. Customers visiting the new dealership will find a state of the art equipment and service center with energy efficiency and conservation in mind. Loudenslager said the wash bay captures the water, oil and debris, and processes it before being reused in the cleaning process.
