The Western Equipment Dealers Assn. has announced their Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2014.
Cameron Bode, South Country Equipment, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan, has been elected president, and Scott Eisenhauer, P&K Equipment, Enid, Okla., has been designated vice president.
Bode will lead the seven-member board of directors, which is responsible for managing the association’s budget and programs. Other individuals serving on the Board of Directors are: Wally Butler, Mazergroup, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Jim Wood, Rocky Mountain Equipment, Calgary, Alberta; Bruce Coleman, Coleman Equipment Inc., Bonner Springs, Kan.; Jack Radke, Ag-Power Inc., McKinney, Texas; and Jeff Flora, Phoenix, Ariz.
John Schmeiser has been designated as CEO of the organization, which was recently formed by a merger of the former SouthWestern Assn. and Canada West Equipment Dealers Assn.
The association spans eight states in the U.S. — Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas — and four provinces in Canada — British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The largest regional trade association of its kind in North America, the Western Equipment Dealers Assn. offers members a comprehensive array of dealer-oriented legislative, educational and communications services, ranging from lobbying to legal, accounting and marketing support.
