The Creighton University Rural Mainstreet Index (RMI) climbed in March from February's healthy reading and remained above growth neutral for the 16th straight month, according to the monthly survey of bank CEOs in rural areas of an average population of 1,300.

The Creighton University Rural Mainstreet Index (RMI) declined in January, though it remained above growth neutral for the 14th straight month, according to the Jan. 20, 2022, release of the monthly survey of bank CEOs in a 10-state rural area.        

For the 13th month, the Creighton University Rural Mainstreet Index (RMI) remained above growth neutral, according to its December survey of bank CEOs in rural areas.
