KIOTI Tractor has broken ground on an expansion of its North American headquarters in Wendell, North Carolina with an estimate for completion in late 2019. The additional 162,750 sq.-ft. of warehouse space will facilitate the company’s planned employee growth of 15 percent in 2 years’ time, and provide warehouse and assembly space for its current and future product lines.
Great Plains Mfg. plans to convert a 350,000 square foot facility that was once an Alco Warehouse into a manufacturing location at a cost of at least $3.7 million for land and acquisition plus $7.9 million of machinery/equipment and remodel, totaling $10.8 million to be invested over a five-year period.
