Executive Summary is part of a 25-page report issued each month to paid subscribers of Ag Equipment Intelligence.

According to Ag Equipment Intelligence’s most recent Dealer Sentiments & Business Conditions Update survey, a net 55% of dealers reported new equipment inventories as “too high,” a deterioration from a net 53% in the previous month. Meanwhile, used equipment inventory levels improved with a net 37% of dealers reporting inventory as “too high” vs. 44% the month before.

The most recent figures released by the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers indicates that North American inventories of new tractors and combines are improving vs. a year earlier. This may come as little comfort to 40% of dealers who say they still have “too much” new equipment on their lots.
