In March, the North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) released its 2013 Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey and inaugural Dealer’s Choice awards. Vermeer Corporation received the top overall rating in this survey and was awarded “Dealer’s Choice” in the Ag/Shortline Manufacturer category.
“We are honored to have achieved the highest score in the recent NAEDA Dealer’s Choice survey,” said Joe Michaels, Managing Director of Forage Solutions at Vermeer Corporation. “We are a member of an industry with a strong tradition of dealer support, and that makes receiving this award even more meaningful. To score at the top of this survey is a tribute to the years of dedicated work by Vermeer employees across all departments.”
The survey, which was conducted in January, asked dealers to rate up to five manufacturer lines that they carry in 12 key categories, including Overall Satisfaction, Product Quality, Product Availability, and Product Technical Support. Dealers were asked to rate the manufacturers on a scale of 1 to 7, with 1 representing the lowest level of satisfaction and 7 representing the highest. Vermeer posted a total score of 76.52 out of 84 possible points.
“Our challenge now is to further align our business systems and relationships with the future expectations of our dealers as they respond to the changing needs of their customers,” Michaels said. “We understand that only through a well-supported dealer network can we provide value-added products to forage growers throughout North America.” NAEDA presented Vermeer Corporation with their award in a ceremony at Vermeer headquarters in Pella, Iowa, on Thursday, April 18.
