PFW (pfw.com) announced development of ID MobileAccess 1.0. The new mobile application allows dealers using the PFW IntelliDealerTM Dealer Management System (DMS) to view information in their system on smartphones and tablet devices.

Many of the operations inside dealerships require dealer representatives to leave their desk and computer. This makes it difficult to get valuable information stored in the DMS while at a customer location or during a remote service repair. ID MobileAccess gives dealership representatives the opportunity to access information wherever they are through mobile devices.

“Dealer representatives spend a lot of time away from their desk, but still need information found in IntelliDealer,” said Frank DeDecker, Director of Product Development at PFW. “ID MobileAccess gives them the ability to look up and provide information on demand. Dealers can find answers, even if they’re not in front of their computer.”

ID MobileAccess is accessible from web enabled mobile devices. The application allows the user to search parts and equipment information, displaying details such as availability by location, price and descriptions. PFW plans to present the new solution during the PFW Dealer Management Conference (March 4-7) and release the solution immediately after.
