December 14, 2012 — Codington-Clark Equipment, a single-store John Deere dealer in Watertown, S.D., has been acquired by Schuneman Equipment.

According to a news item on Schuneman’s Facebook page, “As of December 29, 2012, Codington-Clark Equipment will become the sixth location for Schuneman Equipment. We look forward to the opportunities this presents our customers and employees. As part of a larger dealership organization, our location will have access to more new and used equipment such as John Deere self propelled sprayers, and forage harvesters, more John Deere parts, and expanded short lines. This change will also expand our dealership RTK network, and John Deere FarmSight services."

John Hopper, owner of Codington-Clark Equipment, told Farm Equipment in an email, “Everyone employed here will stay on with Schuneman, including me. This is great opportunity for our customers, employees, the Hopper family and the Schuneman orgaization.”
