Willie German Equipment Co., a longtime farm equipment dealer in West Tennessee, has been purchased by Kentucky-based H&R Agri-Power.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
H&R bought both Willie German locations in Brownsville and Somerville and Billy Meyer will remain general manager of both. But some changes are on the way.
"We plan to enhance current infrastructure by making substantial investments in service trucks, tooling and facility upgrades," said H&R Agri-Power president Wayne Hunt.
The acquisition marks the seventh purchase for H&R since November 2011 and the company now has 13 dealerships in Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama. The company handles Case IH, New Holland, Kubota and Mahindra equipment lines.
