In focus — information on the North American agricultural market and its special features — in Frankfurt am Main on March 13, 2012.
February 14, 2012 — DLG International, a subsidiary of DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society), is inviting all interested to its "North America" Workshop in Frankfurt am Main on March 13, 2012.
The event will focus specifically on the North American agricultural market. After a welcoming address by DLG International Managing Director Bernd Koch, Peter-Josef Paffen, Vice President and Spokesman of the AGCO/Fendt Management Board, will talk about the challenges and opportunities of the North American agricultural machinery market.
Benjamin Hägele, CEO of Cleanfix North America, and Roland Priebe, Marketing Manager of Brielmaier Motormäher (Friedrichshafen), will explain how to establish and expand market relations. In a further lecture, the Regional Director North America of KWS Saat AG, Dr. Rüdiger Strohm, will introduce the customer – the "U.S. Farmer" – and describe his specific features.
In addition, the attorney-at-law Carsten Alting from the law office Hall Booth Smith & Slover in Georgia (New York) will talk about issues of product liability in the U.S.A. The Workshop program will be rounded off by information on the agricultural exhibition AG CONNECT Expo to be held in Kansas City in January 2013. There will be simultaneous German and English interpreting of the talks and discussions.
