Elder Implement and Farmers Implement, Jefferson County Equipment and Mowers and More are proud to announce their two John Deere dealer groups have united to form one entity, Precision Equipment.
This move will provide many great benefits, including improved customer relations, a combined staff of knowledgeable and highly trained employees and a larger resource of products and services.
“With these two companies coming together we will be able to offer support through more resources, such as specialized and trained technicians, larger inventories for parts and equipment and the convenience of eight locations,” stated Carl Wulf, owner.
Precision Equipment will operate under the same owners from each location – Tom Poeltler, Charles Poeltler, Carl Wulf, Ron Farrier and Chad Reed. Together, they have made it a priority to promise job security and improve employee benefits.
“At Precision Equipment, we realize that our Team Precision members are our greatest asset, and we strive to ensure that all of our team members reach their full potential,” stated Matt Poeltler, Vice President of Marketing.
By combining their eight locations, Precision Equipment will be able to increase inventory levels of parts for both their new and pre-owned products. This partnership will improve their parts and services, speed to market and ultimately ensure customers have the best service possible. Precision Equipment will continue to emphasize a superior level of service across Southeast Iowa and beyond.
Tom Poeltler stated, “Precision Equipment will involve the creation of improved customer service processes with programs like John Deere FarmSight™. These solutions will provide our customers with increased services for all areas of their operation. Exciting services are coming, look for them!”
Precision Equipment will continue to emphasize a superior level of training.
Randy Amosson, General Manager, stated, “Precision will have a large focus on training and the growth of technology to better support our customers and to stay ahead of our competition. AMS mainstreaming will be a big focus with all employees as we move forward.”

Further, Alexander expressed his excitement for helping Precision Equipment carry out their future plans.
