Mueller Electronics announces the opening of its new North American operation. The new office will be based in Burr Ridge, Ill., a Chicago suburb. The North American office will be responsible for developing, marketing and selling Mueller Precision farming technology and systems to the American, Canadian, Mexican, Australian and New Zealand markets.
Mueller also announces the establishment of its senior management team in charge of the North American operations. Abe Orbach, will serve as president and David Turner will be vice president of sales and marketing.
Orbach has engineering management experience in both the agricultural and aeronautics industries, primarily in electronics, controls and hydraulic systems. In his career he worked for John Deere, Martin Lockheed and CNH. Prior to this assignment, he was the innovation director for CNH as well as the global platform manager for precision farming and guidance for CNH.
Turner has extensive management experience in the precision ag, GPS and machine control industries with expertise in GPS, electronics and hydraulics.
Müller-Elektronik GmbH u. Co.KG, Salzkotten in Germany, develops, produces and sells electronic solutions for agricultural machinery with the emphasis on combine harvesters, field sprayers, grain drills and seeders, beet harvesters and ISOBUS-equipment for tractors and implements.
The family-owned company in Salzkotten develops, produces and sells electronic solutions for the agricultural machine and industrial sectors. Mueller has operations in Germany, France, United Sates and South America.
