As of November 1^st, 2010, the Bader Brothers John Deere stores located in Reese, Birch Run and Saginaw, Mich., will become part of the Tri-County Equipment Group, based out of Sandusky, Michigan. All three locations will continue to operate as usual.  The same staff will be in place to continue the tradition of good customer service. Our Hillman location was closed on Friday, October 29^th.

This decision did not come easily, as it’s been a vital part of the Bader Family and the Reese community for more than 75 years, an outstanding accomplishment.  John Deere has been structuring their sales and financing programs toward the larger dealer, and the Bader organization has been feeling the effects of these programs for several years. By combining efforts with Tri-County Equipment’s six locations, Sandusky, Caro, Bad Axe, Lapeer, Marlette, and Burton, it was felt that the Bader Brothers customers can and will benefit from doing business with a larger, stronger John Deere dealership group.  

Dave Bader told Farm Equipment, “I believe it is a good thing for us. Consolidation is inevitable, so we feel the timing was right for us to make the sale.”

The Bader family hopes and encourages the customers, to embrace this change by continuing to patronize the 3 former Bader Brothers locations.  David Bader will remain on staff in Reese for a period of time, and would like to thank all of the many friends, employees, customers and business partners who have supported the Bader family of Reese throughout the past 75 years.
