Telford, Tenn. -- In 2009 Alo acquired the front-end loader business of Bush Hog and took over its production facility in Telford, Tennessee. Now, one year later and following significant investment, production of loaders has reached an all-time high, with more capacity available.
The factory is now starting to produce an all-new series of loaders that will soon be introduced, and continues to produce loaders from the company’s existing series for the North American market.
The factory also produces a full range of tractor brackets and implements. The total facility is nearly 410,000 square feet, with the potential to produce 30,000 loaders annually.
“We are delighted to have been able to get this new facility up and running so smoothly, so quickly," commented Olle Pehrsson, Managing Director of Alo AB, which is based in Sweden. "Alo USA, our own USA sales company previously located in Winston-Salem, was also relocated into Telford at the beginning of July, providing far greater efficiency with everything in one place.
“We even had the honour of being welcomed into the area by the mayor of Washington County, who changed the name of the street where we are located to Alo Boulevard – a very warm gesture! We were also pleased that the mayor of Jonesborough met with us."
