Abe Hughes has been named Vice President-Sales and Marketing for New Holland Agriculture in North America according to an announcement by Barry Engle, President and Chief Executive Officer of New Holland Agriculture worldwide. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Hughes, who most recently was Vice President/Director-Business Development Americas for CNH, New Holland Agriculture's parent company, will be located at the New Holland Agriculture North American headquarters in New Holland, Pennsylvania and will report directly to Mr. Engle.
“Mr. Hughes brings a wealth of experience in business and industry to his new position," said Barry Engle, "where he will be responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing and support functions of New Holland agricultural products in North America. We are pleased to welcome him to our New Holland Agriculture family."
Abe Hughes has an extensive background in strategic planning/corporate development, sales, marketing and international management.
Prior to joining CNH, he held a number of senior management positions with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Eli Lilly and Company, among others, in the U.S., Spain and Brazil. A graduate of Cornell University with a B.A. in History, Hughes holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard University.
