Farm machinery shipped in April was worth more than $1.94 billion, up 7.6% over the previous month, which came in at $1.8 billion. Year-over-year, shipments of farm machinery declined by 6.8%, according to data released by the U.S. Census Bureau.
Shipments of construction equipment rose slightly (0.6%) on a year-over-year basis. April CE shipments in April grew by 3.5%, the third consecutive month of increases. CE shipments were valued at $2.19 billion.
