Trelleborg Wheel Systems and AGCO have signed a long-term collaboration agreement in which the two companies undertake to cooperate in the product innovation and development of tires.
Through their synergies, and by sharing research and development tools and methods, the partnership between Trelleborg and AGCO illustrates the desires of both companies to continue investing in specialization, focusing on innovation, quality and excellent customer service.
''The new partnership is a natural evolution of the experience both companies have gained and strengthens the positioning of both brands,” says Stefano Bettinelli, Original Equipment Director at Trelleborg’s Agricultural and Forestry Tires division. “Its main objective is the development of innovative solutions that anticipate the needs of agricultural specialists.”
Part of AGCO’s Challenger, Fendt, Massey-Ferguson and Valtra tractors will now be equipped with Trelleborg tires. The tires are suitable for all uses and able to transfer the performance of the most advanced agricultural vehicles to the terrain, while fully respecting it.
Begun in the first half of 2000, the collaboration between Trelleborg and AGCO has solidified over the years. This has been thanks to the success of projects the companies have worked on together and to the progressive affirmation of both brands in the reference market.
Gary Collar, Senior Vice President, General Manager AGCO EAME / ANZ stated: “AGCO is committed to cooperating with Trelleborg for a long term industrial partnership for the success of both companies and above all, to the benefit of our customers.”
