CROSS Manufacturing received the 2010 New Product of the Year Award presented by Western Kansas Manufacturers Assn. (WKMA), sponsor of the annual 3i SHOW. The award was presented to Ian Paterson, plant manager (pictured left), and Heath Fulls, design engineer (pictured center) by WKMA President Eddie Estes (pictured right) at the annual board meeting February 5.
Each year, WKMA solicits nominations from their members for the New Product of the Year Award. This award recognizes ingenuity and new product development by Western Kansas Manufacturers.
CROSS Manufacturing was recognized for their development of the PDH position cylinder. The cylinder is rated to 3000 psi and available in bore sizes 2.5 to 5 inch bore. All sensor components (except for electrical connector) are imbedded internally within the CROSS cylinder for superior durability and long field life. The internal electronic feedback senses the cylinder rod position and provides output (analog or digital) to allow constant monitoring of the cylinder rod position. Sensor voltage supply is 12/24 VDC. Ideal applications include: steering control, leveling jacks, paver height, snow plow blade control, trash truck automation, etc.
