Currie Management Consultants Inc. is expanding its international operations with the opening of its newest office in São Paulo, Brazil.

CMC specializes in developing business best practices to help companies drive revenue and increase profitability. The company counts farm and construction equipment dealerships among its core customers.

CMC Brazil will be under the direction of Claudio Trincanato who has 25 years of experience in the coordinating activities in a variety of business segments. In addition to operating in Brazil’s industrial segment, as CMC has done in the U.S., Europe and Latin America, the new office has also identified opportunities to expand into the retail industry. The consulting team at CMC Brazil team includes highly skilled professionals with in-depth knowledge of the store segment of the country’s retail industry.

According to Trincanato, partner and director of CMC Brazil, “The Brazilian operation will provide expertise through experience, as well as tools to focus on improving business practices for Currie Management Consultants’s existing Latin American customers. New customers will benefit as well.”

According to the company, it will incorporate retail store industry clients into the CMC Brazil portfolio and will apply its highly experience, expertise and techniques that has been proven successful in other industries. This will include the Currie Best Practices Groups practice, which can be successfully applied across multiple industries including franchised retail stores.

CMC Brazil will utilize modern benchmarking concepts and established techniques developed by Currie during the past 30 years. Current and past CMC clients include CNH-Case New Holland, Ingersoll Rand, Hyster, Yale, John Deere, Atlas Copco and Bandag.
