After losing its contract with John Deere, L&T Farm Equipment has signed with Massey Ferguson to sell their parts and services.
An Upshur County farm equipment store that lost its John Deere franchise in October has signed a deal with a new tractor company.
L&T Farm Equipment will sell Massey Ferguson agriculture equipment along with parts and service.
It plans to sign a deal to sell Snapper lawn and garden equipment later this month.
Employees said they're happy about the new relationship with Massey Ferguson.
"There hasn't been a dealership close by. The closest dealer from here is about 70 or 80 miles out. So we're glad to have one come in here locally," said Donald Nay, L&T sales representative.
Nay said L&T will still service John Deere equipment, and that its Massey Ferguson equipment should arrive next month.
