Nelson Irrigation Corp, Walla, Walla, Wash., was recognized for developing the agricultural industry’s innovative product for water efficiency and ease of use during the Exhibitor New Product Contest held during the 2009 Irrigation Show.

The award was for the firm’s R33 Rotator. The R33 Rotator provides longer throw distance, fights the wind better and delivers uniform coverage. New advancements allow the sprinkler to move from slow to fast mode throughout its rotation. The R33 is suitable for permanent-set, portable-pipe and wheel-line applications for all type of crops, including forage crops, vegetables, grain and pastures, as well as tree and vine crops.
