Progress Being Made on Fairbank Equipment’s New Headquarters
Evans Building Co. shared this video of the progress they are making on the new headquarters in Wichita, Kan., for Fairbank Equipment.
Versatile Staff & Dealers Visit Basak Tractor Factory
A group of 38 staff and Versatile Dealers from Canada and the US visited the Basak Tractor factory in Sakarya, Turkey, which produces tractors up to 120 hp, and the MST factory in Gazientep, which assembles backhoes, excavators and telehandlers. See photos in this LInkedIn post shared by Adam Reid.
‘Nothing Runs Like a Deere’ Started with Snowmobiles
The slogan, Nothing runs like a Deere, was first used to sell snowmobiles, which the firm stopped selling in 1984. 1971: This was the first year that John Deere produced snowmobiles at its plant in Horicon, Wisconsin. This decision was powered by the shift towards snow sports that occurred at the beginning of the decade. During that period ( 1970s ) John Deere produced their very own snowmobiles, beginning with the Model 400 and Model 500 and ending with the 340 and 440 Trailfire models.
