Flashback: 1975 was a ‘Bumper Year’ for Steiger
Heritage Iron Magazine looks back on Steiger history in this Facebook post, sharing, "Completed in just 9 months, the company's new 420,000-sq-ft plant featured a "sideways" assembly line. Tractors were positioned sideways as they moved forward on the assembly line, enabling the three major tractor components - the front and rear sections and cab - to come together as three separate modules."
