The Terteling Company, the parent company of 2 Pacific Northwest equipment dealerships, Agri-Service and Western States Equipment, today celebrates it’s 10 Year Anniversary of the acquisition of Agri-Service, an AGCO dealership covering Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
In those 10 years, Agri-Service has acquired/consolidated 9 additional dealership groups. Now with 220 employees, and operating 14 locations, Agri-Service has grown to be North Americas largest Massey Ferguson dealer by volume. In addition to Massey Ferguson, Agri-Service represents the Fendt brand, Gleaner, and Ag-Chem, also supporting AGCO legacy brands such as Challenger, Hesston and White.
Along with investments for its customers and employees, through the Terteling Foundation the company continues to support the communities it serves. In 2023, the foundation donated $125,000 directly to support local veteran organizations, with veterans from both companies choosing where the funds were distributed.
“It is exciting to see the great support from our customers, and what our group of dedicated employees can achieve. I’m looking forward to what can be accomplished in the next 10 years” says Kevin Vivian, president of Agri-Service.
“Everyone knows farming comes with a high degree of risk. And options reduce risk. So, in an industry that has been typically controlled by 2 entities, choices for farmers have been somewhat limited as well. But over the past 10 years, Agri-Service has strengthened themselves to be one of the premier farm equipment dealers in the industry. Which means Agri-Service is able to deliver quality solutions and offer another option in the marketplace. This is a very good thing for farmers as Agri-Service gets up every morning committed to delivering top notch outcomes with the farmer being top of mind. It continues to be an honor to have Agri-Service shoulder to shoulder with us and I look forward to the next 10+ years.” Greg Milstead, director NA Distribution Performance.
Agri-Service is on the Farm Equipment Dealer 100™ (a ranking of the top 100 North American farm equipment dealers — by number of locations, which provides information on total and ag stores, brands, geographies served, employees, history, executives and ownership/company profile information.
