LMS Ag Equipment recently opened a second location in Steinbach, Man. The 15,000-square-foot facility will provide sales, parts and service.
Steinbachonline.com reported that LMS Ag started in Morden, Man., in 1987 as a small family farm implement dealer owned and operated by Henry Penner and a business partner. It is a second-generation family business, the site reported, currently run by Henry’s sons Abe and Will.
LMS Ag provides AGCO brands Fendt, Massey Ferguson, RoGator and TerraGator as well as Versatile and several other shortline brands.
The dealership’s website announced a grand opening celebration at the Steinbach location on July 27 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event will offer tours, a mini trade show, lunch and a 1:00 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony. According to the story on steinbachonline.com, several of LMS Ag’s shortline partners will exhibit at the mini trade show.
