Looking Back on Autonomy Predictions

Dr. John K. Schueller, University of Florida, recently commented on the “To the Point” editorial in January 2023 Farm Equipment, “Autonomy: Are We There Yet?” and shared a piece he wrote in 2011 on the outlook for futuristic technology on the farm. “Perhaps your article intrigued me since about a dozen years ago I made predictions 25 years out,” he says. “I recently went back to see if we were half-way there.
