AGuru Machinery's Yield-Till Knife-Coulter Row Unit knife is closely coupled behind the center coulter, which significantly reduces draft loads and horsepower requirements, while maintaining the shape of the knife fracture. The side coulters, placed next to the center coulter, run the same depth or slightly above the knife and change the soil fracture into a full U-shape, or a flowerpot shape, to dramatically improve it.

With the knife positioned in the soil modestly ahead of the side coulters, very little additional horsepower is required.
