Independent Repair Shop Shares Their Experience Repairing Equipment
The Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association visited with Ian Groteluschen, owner of independent repair shop Groteluschen Repair, about his experience using the Customer Level John Deere Service Advisor. Fun Fact … Tesla & Farm Machinery
Tesla is in the news a lot these days, but did you know that the famed inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla worked at Allis-Chalmers in Milwaukee from 1919-22? His brief stint came 7 years after the company reorganized Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company, which began a focus on ag equipment as farming was on the cusp of mechanization. What might he have accomplished had he been given an ag machinery assignment?
Rocky Mountain Equipment Customers Travel Between Fields Via Ferry
Jim Wood, chief sales and operations officer at Case IH dealer Rocky Mountain Equipment shared this image on LinkedIn of this ferry carrying combines across the Athabasca River. He says a few of their customers have land separated by the river and the ferry saves hours of travel time.
