So far, direct injection systems have hardly been able to establish themselves in the field of crop protection. Long tubes caused delays in agent delivery. Now though, DirectInject by Amazone enables flexible mixing in of liquid and granulated agents during work on the field. The new system has already convinced the international FARM MACHINE 2022 jury.
Quicker Work, Less Cost
Jury member Cord Leymann, long time operator of and expert on farm machinery, explains, “Finally, a direct injection system has come in a form that makes sense on a day-to-day basis." The handling is convincing and you end up having to do less passings, in turn saving time, fuel and cost, the Jury found. But to Leymann, the most important point lies in the use of agent. “We feel the societal pressure to use less agent all over Europe, and this system will help us do just that AND save money in the process," he says.
DirectInject consists of an additional 50 l tank with the corresponding mixing technology, which is integrated into the storage compartment of the UX 01 Super field sprayer on the right-hand side of the machine. The tank takes in undiluted pesticides.
